Welcome to the official thread for the 1st FUZE GAME JAM
The theme is..... JUMP!
Rules:
You have 48 hours to make your creation, it can be a game, a demo, anything you like. You can interpret the theme however you like, use 2D or 3D, use inbuilt assets or create your own!

on social media when showing off your entriesAll submissions will receive TWO vanity share codes, one for the entry and another for an upload of the author's choosing.
Please submit your games via the sharing system and at the top of your code include:

Closing time for entry is 6pm Sunday, and shortly afterwards I will be streaming live playing and enjoying the lovely creations!

You shouldn't give up. The idea is to have fun, learn something and you get a game and achievement out of it

@LinkCraft02 Hah, I'm in the same boat, but I'm just going to keep plowing through, even if what I wind up with is nothing more than a very primitive tech demo. So stay heartened :D

Well, due to a possible glitch in Fuze, my game didn't turn out. I'm submitting early because I'm not sure if I'll be able to tomorrow morning before the jam ends.

I also shared a video of it on Twitter under the indicated hash tags. Code got pretty squirrely by the end as I was racing to get it done, no one should take it as an example of a well-structured program :D

I can't seem to edit my post, but I thought its important to say:
More would have been done, however the collision map doesn't scale with the tilemap, and I couldn't find a way to scale it seperately. The game would work perfectly fine, but due to that bug I hit a dead end -

@spikey Rofl, I ran into this too! I had forgotten that line at the top when I'd initially submitted (yeah, I can't read directions :) ), and had my Switch undocked at that point-- I sat there forever trying to find "#" on the virtual keyboard!
Finally, I just sighed, turned my TV back on, re-docked, hit "#" on my USB keyboard, undocked, turned the TV off, saved, re-shared... :D
