Calculator, UI editor, "Music" Maker, Database that linked everyones games by creators name ( couldnt search name in their search )
I put some games in it...

I'd want more functions:
loading outside projects within that project

being able to save stuff written within the program...
and then, access that code, outside of it being run...

I'm already planning on making a more advanced calculator then the one I previously made

From what I can understand, perhaps im remembering wrong, but... they stated, don't like our Sprite Editor, make your own...
And to that, I dont think its possible, I mean, i can load boxes next to each other but.... I dont think of that as an image...

Honestly, being able to take a code library I make (like for my MML Player), and separating it from the main program but being able to link to it would be fantastic. Then when I share this library, people can import it without having to place its entirety in their main code.

DB for da people! :D Coding without using a DB is kind of like having no fridge in your home.

I have found that making the scale negative in drawImageEx also works

for example
a = loadimage("a")
drawImageEx( a, {95, 410}, -360, {-2, 2}, white, {0,0} )

The -2 made my image draw flipped left and right

I tried to list out all the characters I can print with chr function but didn't find box drawing characters there.

The problem is remembering to do it BEFORE you make a tonne of changes, not getting half way through and wishing you had :D

The numbers on the fps meter are (in milliseconds): cpu processing time (dark blue), gpu processing time (red), frame time (green) and vsync latency (light blue).
When gpu processing time rises above 15ms the gpu is switched to a higher clock speed and the background of the fps meter turns red, the system returns to the default mode when the gpu time drops below 12ms. Hopefully that answers any questions.

@Martin Fuze can be a wonderfoul way to get into programming and make some pretty advanced home-made games and programs which would work cross platform without any porting problems, it can be also a nice thing to start even professional projects and apps, maybe you can just release something like an xcode or visual studio plugin to support your language and the functions and then to have it compiled to an actual app, of course this means lots of work.

I personally will be just gratefoul to have fuze 4 switch ported to pc and available on steam to make games i can play on my pc and then on my switch and just transfer them using some sort of accounting or cloud. if you can make a playstation port and a mobile port supporting those features i mentioned it will be just as great.

This is just me dreaming of course, i hope in something like that to became reality but that's just me.

And since I know low level c quite well now, i was thinking about creating an interpreter in c and porting it to mac, dos and ios and maybe windows and linux, and so to have programs written with the interpreter's language to work cross platform without issues, the only problemating things will be just input support and graphics modes support and mediating all the platforms differences, and of course the dos port will be very challenging for memory management (requiring things like protected mode very likely and a math co to support things like floating point without mutch truble). Only thing i don't have now is the time to work to such project, but iot will be very cool to have.

I just connected the dock to an hdmi pc monitor, and i attached a usb keyboard and a lan adapter to the dock and then i conncted an usb sound card with the last free usb port so i can have decent audio over my speackers and also having a good tome coding without having to spend extra money on accessories

Thanks a lot for the link. I was living in the UK in the 80s but could not afford to buy a BBC micro. Like you, i wasn't aware of most of the series, I remember watching The Computer Programme and Making the Most of the Micro.

That was my plan eventually, to store them in an array of structs. If I didn’t hear of any better options that is. But I haven’t gone with that quite yet. For now I still have sloppy unorganized code. 😄

@Discostew that's an interesting thought and this may have helped me get my head around it a little quicker, but once I'd realised that a function must always return something, even if that something is nothing, the return void clicked with me.

@SteveZX81 think of it as the end if to your if. If you don't need it to return anything, return void, otherwise return whatever you need :)

you can use what you have describerd to detect motion, in fact you can just add some cases to determinate how the joycon has been moved, and also i think that switch lite compatibility is something to look for, so keep the analog sticks as a backup for moving the cursor

@SteveZX81 It's a lot to take in but what I would reccomend is take it one byte at a time (get it?). I am finding that if I do 1 or 2 tutorials a day and stay dedicated to that schedule that I am able to retain my knowledge gained while also starting fresh each day so things don't get mixed up in my head (the number of lessons you can do a day may vary from person to person so just find a schedule that works for you and stick to it :) ).
