Community Approval Process

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Fuze Arena

As you will no doubt have gathered this is a new community setup to help and support people
on their journey with the soon to be released Fuze 4 Nintendo Switch (F4NS), be they completely new
to code and needing help with the simplest of things or a seasoned developer coming here to
hang out, socialise and maybe show off their talents or latest and greatest creations.

First however we need to address a couple of things - this may become a FAQ or a set of rules
 at a later date...

 Registration Approval

I'm sorry, I know you're keen, but membership requests have to be approved when you first
try to signup. Your signup will need to be approved by a human. This step is taken to
filter out the spam and the bots as best as possible. None of us really need to hear about
new sunglasses every other post - or worse!

Fuze comes from a small team in the UK but you'll be surprised how much time we spend online!
When people are around you can expect approval to be done within anything from a few minutes to
a few hours but please be aware that for now, if it's the middle of the night in the UK it
could end up being the longer of those two. Actually, midnight is probably fine, there's
usually a night owl somewhere, but 3AM might be a different matter. Hopefully we can address
 the different time-zones soon enough.

Post ApprovalOK, so you've joined and you're keen to introduce yourself (you are aren't you? don't be shy)
The next thing you're going to bump your head against is that initially your posts
also need to be approved. Again, this is a human step but we do receive notifications that
you have made a post so again, provided someone is online it should be relatively quick.
Provided that is, we don't have any issue with what you are posting. We'll come back to that.

So you would be forgiven by now for thinking this is all a bit of a pain and surely can't go
on forever! And you would be right on both counts. Posts gain reputation by being voted by
other community members. Once you have 10 reputation we consider that to be enough and you
no longer need approval to post.

We will of course monitor the community as best we can but not by approval once you have
reached your initial rep target. Which brings us to...

 Posting Rules and Etiquette

While we would like to think we don't need formal rules, a full set will be put in place soon enough.
Until then you must observe these few simple guidelines and we will all get along just fine...
 - First and foremost, play nice and keep it clean. This is a place where all members of the
family over the age of 13 are welcome and we will do everything in our power to keep it
that way. Please help us to do this.

- Outside of F4NS, Fuze Arena's primary business is in teaching and encouraging young people
to code and we will not permit anything to the detriment of that business.

- With Fuze4NS we are naturally working with Nintendo to bring you the application and it's
content. We will not permit anything that endangers or breaches that relationship in any way.
You must accept that there are times when we simply cannot answer a question or reveal everything.

- Finally, if you do post something that breaches any of these simple guidelines, it may be
removed or not approved and we reserve the right to do so without notice or explanation and
 our decision is final.

Right, with those rules out of the way, we welcome you to what we hope will become a thriving
community and as always we look forward to seeing what you create.

 Your friendly Fuze Arena team.
