@faz808 You can get file length by checking len(fileHandle). It's not documented, as far as I know, but len() treats the file just like it treats a string or an array. Note that you can't delete characters from a file, only overwrite, so the file length may not tell you how much usable data is actually in the file. My suggestion is to pick a particular unicode character to represent unallocated file space, use that character to overwrite any data you want to delete from the file, and then search for that character to find the end of the valid data within the file.

@super-dup Wow are those good! I really liked the 3DO port of the Amiga game "Soccer Kid", these give me that vibe.

I have been doing some more programming, and research, and I'm almost ready to release a program that converts an image into my fuze format, and types it for you! No microcontroller needed! Currently it can only convert images right now, but I have been working on making it so that it can import midi files, and even 3d models!! (For the 3d model part, i found a whole bunch of ways to crash fuze lol, I had to reprogram it many times) I am currently testing the program on different devices, expect a release in the next few weeks! (The release will only convert images)

Edit: May have to rework the code, as I discovered a better and faster way to compress the files for images.

Any word on the Windows version of Fuze 4 as of 2023? I love it on Switch, but since I only have a Lite model I'm kind of looking forward to doing things a little quicker!

I forgot to say that i also added a sprint feature. You need to press the left shoulder button to increase your speed to make some of the jumps. If you press x you can view the full control scheme.

Some of my joycon buttons were broken so i had to adapt and change it from what it would normally be for other games on the switch.

Good to see some appreciation for tiny games! There’s a lot to be said for a game you can finish in a few hours. My Switch is the only gaming device I have for now, but it’s on my list for when that changes!
