I've shared it, I've added NPCs and houses. I also re-implemented the first person view and can be used in the supposed player character's house.

She hasn't really implemented them as such, but if you see a list of them in the assets section, you should be good.

Well I’m sorry to say I didn’t achieve what I’d hoped for this time. The baton is passed.

I was a day late, but I finally passed it over to @AndyG1985!
I reworked the first level and put in houses and stationary npc’s. There is a game state that advances the story, and you can now talk to the npc’s as well. The dialogue scenes feature 3D characters on top of 2D backgrounds, which turned out pretty nice!

Completed and shared! (Could this be the first one…?) I added two more levels and a “win” screen, plus a title screen and music / fx. Oh, I also added a title: “It’s Good to Talk!” I considered adding lives / death, but that didn’t seem to fit the vibe of one of the most wholesome and lovely things I’ve ever seen! Still time for last-minute changes if anyone wants, but I would call it complete. 3HN33MNDXH (pending).
