In honour of the person who won last week’s High Score Challenge, I have decided that this week’s game will be an all-time Fuze classic:

Commander, 2880. But it took 2 water bombs at the same time, a long range that I tried to dodge, and then the close sub 50, that did not fire for 2-3 seconds, cut my escape path.
My strategy was dropping bombs in the longest possible interval ~1.5 sec to keep a continuous wall of bombs, focusing mostly on the subs shooting with the highest speed. So, I could move to the other side of the bomb wall.Appendix, 13.9.2020:
Rear Admiral, 104 subs, score 4300
Looks like the quick shooting and the close subs are the one to focus. -
43 subs, score 1910 but no way will that be my only attempt. I plan to be a serious contender this time. I forgot how good / addictive the game is!

As usual, I got nowhere near any of these - will have another go later in the week.

75 / 3110. I got sunk immediately upon making Captain! They come up so fast..

My best so far is 84 sunk and a score of 3870 points. I can't put an image on as I'm locked out of twitter currently but will when I can.

People are so good at this! My new high score is 77 / 3510 / Commodore. And the Naval Board have finally said something nice to me :)

Finally got to Captain rank, then immediately died :) It was so hairy at the end! The fast firing subs at the bottom are the cheeky ones.
Sank 63 subs, score: 3030
I'll keep putting work in...

Got 89 sunk, scored 3610 points and rank of Commodore. That's about as good as I can do, so I'm calling it there.

I have not yet made it above midshipman.... I hope to try again before the deadline!
