Hey folks! Very excited to be making this post.

We are looking for program submissions to be included in the FUZE Showcase Gallery. These will then be included, and/or made available, within the FUZE Player. This is to be an on-going process!

      What is the FUZE Player?
The FUZE Player is a standalone application for Nintendo Switch that allows users to download and play games created by the FUZE coding community. It’s 100% free to download and so are the programs! The idea is of course to maximise the outreach of FUZE, to get it into the hands of as many Switch users as possible and get them coding. What better way to do this than to show off some of the awesome things you can do with it?

The FUZE Player will only be allowed to run programs. Users will not be able to edit code at all.

So, we need awesome content! If you've got a project you're proud of, or an idea you are working on, please consider submitting it to the Showcase Gallery! This as I mentioned is an on-going process - there is no time limit!

The best of the best will also be considered for inclusion within the FUZE Player application as deafult programs, similar to the demo projects in FUZE4 Nintendo Switch. However, these will need to be submitted before the end of the day on 16th March 2020 to be considered for inclusion in the release version. This date is of course subject to change depending on the progress of the release of the Player application. We can't predict the future!

We are happy to help and be involved as much as we are able throughout the entry’s development. If you are considering an idea for example, please do let us know if you’d like to discuss it or ask any specific questions.

Ideally we are looking for programs and games across multiple genres but innovative and new ideas are to be welcomed.

Genres include but not limited to: JRPG, FPS, Arcade, Platformer (3D - 2D), Metroidvania, Shoot’em’up, Beat’em’up, RTS, Puzzle, Sport, Sims, Runners, Party, Educational, Physical exercise, Racing, Rhythm, Tower defence, D&D, Roguelike, Visual novel, Escape, Point & Click adventure and even Text adventures.

Other programs could include: Music player, Synthetiser, Cool Pattern Generator, Drawing Program, etc.

The decision to include or not include a program is made at the discretion of FUZE Technologies Ltd and is final. If you would like to submit, please read the important information document found at the link below:

      https://fuzearena.com/forum/topic/921/fuze-player-project-submission-important-information

Feel free to ask any questions below, then when I've got a good idea of the most frequently asked and their answers, I'll put together an FAQ page too.

      Thanks for reading! :)

@Dave are you saying that if I can get a program of mine on the FUZE player all my friends can see it on their switch?

@LinkCraft02 The time restriction is only if you want your program to be considered for inclusion in the release application included programs This is an on-going thing - there is no "too late" in terms of getting into the Showcase Gallery! The gallery will be updated regulalry with new accepted submissions.

Hey that is a great thing, I love the player idea and am eager to think about a submission.

Just to troll you a bit: Do I need to use tabs?? Two spaces should be more when enough...😁

I live for the idea and am curious to see what can and will be created.👨‍💻👨‍💻

@mario-bodemann Not a fan of tabs myself and I think that 2 spaces should be enough, but 4 seems to be the standard

@pianofire @mario-bodemann it's one keypress instead of two..!

We would allow two space tabs.
