Match 3, Orb Magic

I'm currently in the development of a new match-3 type puzzle game. Inspired by Bejeweled 3's Diamond mine mode, but more focused on strategy, and featuring powers to try and maximize your play time!
As far as I have made it, there is...
- A move counter (no end state for it running out yet)
- The swapping mechanic, and matching, too!
- Destruction of ground adjacent to gems
- Score count
- Gem levels 1 though 10, though not all implemented in normal gameplay yet
- Rock levels 1 through 5, though not all implemented in normal gameplay yet.
- An orb counter, which shows you how many orbs you dug up.
- A level indicator.
Features I have yet to include:
- Text that tells you how many orbs you need to get until the next level
- Power Cards! Every level, you'll be prompted to buy these for moves, some are temporary, and will pop back up in the shop once you've bought it, and some are permanent upgrades that won't.
- The rest of the difficulty levels for leveling up (so far, there're 2)
- Updated graphics. They're nothing but simple right now.
- A title screen
- An end state (game over)
- Some sort of simple jingle to play as you play
- SFX
- A nice BG fade

I love it! Have you considered giving each color a unique shape as well? It would make it way easier to be able to tell what matches with what, plus it would make the game more accesible to colorblind folks. Just like square, circle, triangle, Rhombus, etc.

Awesome! Really want to do a match 3 game at some point for sure
