@Jongjungbu Original Gauntlet was the ultimate advancement in coin grabbers, no wait, which came first Gauntlet or Dragon's Lair! Gauntlet I & II were masterpieces - modern Gauntlets are just clones of clones of clones. The originals were totally different - Death!, Potions, luring monsters away from areas, shooting through diagonal gaps, the damn thief!, traps, breakable walls, Lobbers, rebounding shots, treasure levels, shooting food and on and on and... I also loved it!

Gauntlet was like an arcade version of Rogue and those sorts of games.

Incredible! Looks so professional. I couldn’t clear the level 2 boss after 4 attempts - tried saving the timestopper which doesn’t affect him ☹️ Then I found the axe which didn’t help me. I will keep at it!

                              I’m sensing influences of:
                              Castlevania - obviously
Ghouls n Ghosts - the items
Actraiser - the boss / player energy.
All of which I love! Look forward to the final game!
