It's back 🤣 skater kid version 1000, just reworked the controls hoping to make a full version of the game.

Got a fair few tricks currently in the mix, just sharing as a test version for now.Forgot to mention in the control comments at the top holding B while moving will skid to a gradual stop.

Thanks for everyone's help and opening up the world of coding.
This was the first game I tried to make when I first started coding, feels good to have it finally conceptualised and finished.
Maybe more levels in the future 😉.

This is just taste speaking, but any thoughts about making a bona fide platformer out of this engine, rather than a left-to-right time attack affair? Maybe the time attack areas could be bonus stages between levels?

You are a true legend dude, thanks for being here, as always. This game absolutely MUST be showcased. The style, artistic ability and design absolutely shines through this project.
I have a couple thoughts and observations - I agree with @Spacemario above but I'll invert the suggestion - a "free skate" mode would be really nice to hone your control without time pressure before attempting the time attack. Perhaps a small level could be made with the important bits (a jump, a wall to ride, a rail etc) for some practice.
Second, it seems as though the seconds timer is counting too fast, certainly much faster than actual seconds. Is this deliberate? it feels like it ends a bit too quick.

@dave cheers Dave, The timer is a little fast but while testing and spacing out check points it suits for timing but maybe I should recalibrate the timer to suit seconds for display purposes? Happy to change it.
I thought about a free skate mode which I could add in on the title screen options also happy to add that, I did leave the left side of each level as a practice but maybe that only serves as a introduction to new elements for that level.
Leave it with me and hopefully get them sorted this week 🙂.
