      Hi folks.

This is a new section of the Arena dedicated to beginners looking for help with coding in Fuze4.

As the forum grows, we will have users of all abilities here sharing their journey. Out of concern that people may feel intimidated by some more complicated topics, we decided we should have a dedicated space for both advanced and beginner discussions.

Please, do not hesitate to ask anything here. Don't be afraid of sounding inexperienced or silly. We all must start somewhere, I all too well remember finding concepts very intimidating which I now am comfortable with. This is about helping each other on the journey to programming mastery.

With that in mind, I look forward to hearing from everybody on any issues they're having getting something to work.

If you're unsure whether something belongs here or in the advanced section, err on the side of posting it here. It's no problem for us to move a post if we feel it belongs somewhere else and the chances are there are a lot of people who would love to know!

@Dave Thank you and the Fuze team for adding this section to the programming blog! I’m completely new to Fuze BASIC and it’s all very confusing as someone who’s dabbling into BASIC for the first time. I’m so glad I can post my questions here and get guidance to my projects! :)

That is exactly the idea @B_Studios! Hate to be that guy - but please avoid calling Fuze4 Nintendo Switch "Fuze BASIC" - This is the name of the much older version of Fuze and might cause some confusion since it is/was a real product. Just "Fuze" or "Fuze4" is what we're going with. It's so far removed from Basic that to call it such is a bit of a misnomer.

Really sorry to be that guy..

Anyway, I'm looking forward to any and all questions you might have about your projects or concepts or anything at all :)

Thank you for doing this. I’m a beginner and have a hard time understanding the concepts sometimes. I check your YouTube channel daily to see if you are doing the next tutorial. I want to be able to create a story and that’s thru gaming. I want to create memorable characters that effect people in A a positive way. I love gaming, it’s a wonderful, powerful tool to tell a story. Almost every time I check the “ work in progress” section I get motivated again, because like I said it’s hard for me to understand all the concepts.. and it pushes me to continue on my journey.. That’s what Fuze means to me, that’s what this community means to me .. it means a lot.
