Image Editor Bug?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong but in the image editor I can't get a pure red. If I push the right stick the to top right I get R:255 G:2 B:0. If I nudge it round so the G goes to 0 then the red has also moved below 255. Is there another way?

I can get 255,0,0 but only if i'm extremely careful nudging left/right. got 255,0,1 and 255,1,0 a couple of times before it settled on 255,0,0
definitely needs a fine tune (possibly on dpad left / right)

Huh, by the time I had put the memory card back in, powered on and gone back into the image editor I managed 255,0,0 straight away. Odd!
[EDIT] OK, ignore me - I was indeed doing it wrong. Needs a combination of both mushrooms!
