Looks extremely faithful to the original. Look forward to seeing more!
-
how long did it take you? It's very amazing.

Hi, Firstly thanks for the kind words.
It's been a side project while working on FUZE4 Nintendo Switch. It would be possible to achieve this in less than a week if you were dedicated.
Actually i really need to update the video as I have the enemy choppers in there now!
-
how has this been made, hasn't the game not been released yet (Nintendo switch)? or has fuze code been a thing already out on other platforms like PC Mac or Xbox? and if so for how long?
-
@lawyerlounge Every game / demo you see here has been created by the FUZE Team in house using the development version. There has been a version of FUZE for other platforms for 4 or 5 years now (started on the raspberry pi!, (well actually started on the maximite..) This is the very latest version, with full 3D, high resolution graphics, and an amazing graphics and sound library. What you see here that @Jonboy has done, he has drawn every single pixel by hand in the image editor!
-
Cool! and what has been made here, can all be done on the switch version releasing at the end of August?
-
Thats correct
-
Awesome job on the parallax scrolling!
-
I love it! what a perfect version.. amazing! Really goes to show what Fuze can do too!
-
I still have to add the enemy choppers, sounds, the start sequence, high scores, attract mode - then it will be closer to perfect. But it will never be as lovely as the original with two mechanical joysticks.
Actually i've not been able to touch it for a few weeks as we've been in release mode but hopefully i'll get back to it soon.
Thank you for the praises though - nice!

is there any chance you could share the code or even post a listing? I'd really love to see how the game was done as it's similar to a couple of games I'd like to do.
