Please be aware that while the forum software will not prevent you from posting a reply less than 8 characters, that is actually the minimum during post approval and if we try to approve any post lower than that it won't work so we have no choice but to just delete the post rather than approving it.
There is the 'upvote' button should you wish to express a single word of praise for someones post. Obviously there is no down button :)
