I've now completed the Patience Solitair game with id 9HD63MND1Z. Would love to have it added to the FUZE Player, so if it would make the cut, I'd like to hear from you guys :D

@PB____ Thank you so much for that submission. Excellent program, fantastically written, thoroughly commented, works beautifully. I've got a couple of comments that I will message you privately about - but I think it's fair to say this will be making it into the Showcase Gallery. Congratulations dude :) We'll chat about the changes you want to make too.

@xevdev Hi, is the updated version a new name? I'm looking at the live version and I'm not sure if it's the latest! Perhaps you could resubmit the program for sharing approval with a new name, like Go Go Pogo Jo - Showcase Submission

@Dave did as you asked but seems I will have maybe an issue with the save states as being a copy it doesn't have a save file. Ran the reset_score_table() and this fixed the problem ( line 2897 ). May have to write a check file ? And as I think of that if I try to read a file and it's not there I not sure if there's a way to catch an error? Anyway it should have a file now attached so I'll update now called pogo Jo - showcase submission.

@xevdev So there is no error generated when you try to read from the file system without first writing. However if you try to read anything it returns an empty string. So you could have something like this:

function fileExists()
    var handle = open()
    var test = read( handle, 4 )
    close()
    var result = (test != "")
return result

@pianofire thanks will implement but this will only happen if it's a copy or will this happen if someone downloads the game ?

@xevdev A good question. I have already confirmed that when you share a game the save file is shared with it. Not sure about copy though I will have to check.

NOTICE TO EVERYBODY: The submission deadline for included demo programs in the Player release has been extended. The submission deadline is now 16th March, and this is of course subject to change depending on the progress of the Player.

Don't let the deadline discourage you from making a submission. The deadline only applies if you want your game to be in the included programs of the release version. It can always get into the Showcase Gallery, regardless of time submitted.

I have also amended the original post to be less dense, and have added a link to a separate forum page containing the license agreement information. Please feel free to leave a comment here or send me a message for clarification on anything at all.

@vinicity was checking out the showcase and really dig the music in 'Senorita Space Worm.' Well done on the relaxing and uplifting soundtrack.

My son has been experimenting with different sounds for his game and definitely going to recommend he look at what you did.
