move sprites with left stick including animation?

Im currently planning on making a battle royale kind of game that’s top-view and not broken cough cough Fortnite cough but I don’t know how to make my placeholder character move with animations.. help please :( I’m like really new on fuze and I’m more of a copy-paste kinda guy and when something’s a little off on the code I tend to find it and fix it myself. but I should’ve started with the tile screen but I’ll try to figure that out on my own..
