@moonflower It was a seaside holiday town. It was very busy in the summer and very quiet in the winter

And now it’s busy all year round with p**heads and there’s virtually no arcades. Such a shame.

I live in Blackpool mate, from 76 to the late 80's it was utter heaven for arcade fans like myself but not anymore, most arcades have closed down, the rest now have crap like bingo machines and the latest fad which seems to be grabber machines. and yes here too with the p...heads and dr...heads. it's a shame.

@SteveZX81 We went to a few Play Expo retro events at the Norbreck Castle Hotel in Blackpool. Did you get to any of those Steve?

Sadly no, I can't get about these days but I do see videos of the event and just watch green with envy. haha

@petermeisenstein i do put a lot of pressure on myself lol. but yea, those little moments of accomplishment are really enjoyable to me so i'll focus on that. i think that would help. thank u :)

@PB____ ooh i've been doing that a lot more, of just focusing on one thing at a time, and it really works. nothing seems so hard or complex when it's just one small task. i think having deadlines and schedules would be a good idea. that used to help me with paintings, otherwise i just never got them done. but with a deadline, i had the motivation to really work and meet that goal. ill have to look into those methods tho, they sound interesting. thank u!

Im terrible for leaping at my ideas as they come but as a result i think i have 12 games all unfinished but as i learn i update them all or merge ideas stops me getting frustrated if i hit a road block in one of them,
either way im building up my own stock assets so always moving forward and in future will be able to create games faster.
I like to think im creating templates for different types of games that will hopefully attract more people to use fuze or inspire an idea and of course all my programs and code is open for people to use.

@waldron haha yes i relate. new ideas are so exciting, it's hard to just work on one and not leave it for the others. but that's a really good way to look at it. what's nice about coding is you can always go back and update it, there's technically never a point of completion. i've got a lot of unfinished little experiments but i keep them saved bc those bits of code can always be used for future projects, or serve as inspiration.

its like keeping sketches in a sketchbook. some drawings you'll turn into a complete painting, some will remain as doodles, some will inspire other people.
