      For starters, Im a total newb to Fuze. I just started a month ago but I keep improving myself from time to time.

      My basic knowledge of coding:
      I know how scripts work and what they are capable of. A Interpreter just reads what you tell it. Even though I never learned a proper programming language I hacked old N64 Roms cheat codes and was even able to bypass CDrom protection. It just worked anyhow.
      My dad is a former programmer and I kept track of what he was doing, seeing lines of code seems pretty normal for me. I knew what Syntax is before I learned to control my empathy.

      Right now where I stand in Fuze:

      I am able to visualize Sprites and set controls how I want them. Let them move around the screen. I can work with if then endif, use the self declared functions and structures all the time and there is just one point that really grinds my gears.

      I understand the interpreters potential because I am able to read the manuals. But where I stop is my knowledge of mathematical functions. I am just bad at math and visualizing numbers in my head. Intuition is my true strength. That is good for gaming, not for coding.

      Even if I read the manual, I wouldn't understand the mathematical Part behind it because I simply don't know all these terms and vocabulary.

      That's where my intuition drops in and sets my mind on fire.
      StartMindblow()
      Print("
      You guys should do in addition to the Forum, a formula page where we can search for all these words and formulas like wikipedia. Think about the younger coders who simply don't understand math like other people. Math matters!"
      )

      It's just a simple idea and it would not need any youtubers to record a video. It would be a collection of mathematical terms that are used in Fuze as reference material or lecture. It would contribute to the purpose of your company.

      So where can I improve my Math, to a level of understanding where it's just intuition?

        Maths is a pretty broad subject. I guess you are mostly talking about geometry?

        If you want to raise your skill level there, I think searching YouTube for “beginners geometry course” is a good starter.

        If you have more specific questions about maths and/or coding, I know many of us are happy to answer and maybe share some code examples...

          Suggestion noted, have you tried doing just that and searching Wikipedia? I mean, I haven’t so I can’t confirm with me way or the other but the info might be there?

          PS: I can’t resist 😀. It’s ‘Maths’ to us in the UK. Never really understood why some countries drop the S

            @Martin So is Math or Maths correctly ?
            And to not go off topic i think the idea to provide a basic formula stuff page is a nice idea.
            Especially because fuze is made for young people.
            When it comes to sin cos and tan I hadnt know with 12 or 11 how to use it very much but maybe the level of knowladge in the uk is a bit different i mean maybe in the uk kids with 12 learn sin cos tan but i dont really know

              Math is the US spelling but as it is short for Mathematics (i.e. plural) in the UK we say Maths

                  Also, don’t go to wikipedia for a friendly understandable introduction to maths in programming. Because that’s not what’s there...

                      @toxibunny that's right what I mean.
                      Beginner friendlyness should be a keyword :D

                          Actually, I think the word I actually meant to write was “trigonometry”. But geometry is off course useful as well.

                            I became a Dad two days ago. So I will bookmark that to read it later.
