To fix:
Fix getting caught on ledges /done
animation state engine plr/enemies
Player lives/ maybe getting hit reduces your bytes and slows you down and if plr speed 0 you get reset?
reset locations for certain collisions/falls
still runs wrong way when you hit fire running left will be fixed with new mechanic.To Do:
add in camera shake/apply to jumps when player lands/gets hit//mid level bosses

reshared with minor bug fixes,player now moves up and over ledges if you get stuck and runs the correct way when falling left :)

The bosses/ large creatures yes but not the level assets that's ansimuz's, I think the gargoyle took me 5hrs and to finish the terrordactyle in total I think 8hrs because its 6 frames just for its idle state and I have kids lol.
Sidenote: Ideally for some of the asset tiles for buildings ect would be nice to be able to group them together and place as a full or half tile instead of scrolling through the individuals matching them up. -
That’s great, and I thought I was overdoing it by re-drawing all my Dizzy graphics rather than using the next-gen assets. Also, I’m largely just copying mine.
It’s also inspiring, cos we found out recently that we’re expecting, and I’ve been thinking that’s the end for my coding. We’ll see! -

@AndyG1985 congratulations! well it maybe on a back burner for the first couple of months until you find a routine but doesn't mean youl have to end all of your hopes and dreams :) im also completely refitting my kitchen, kids, coding and work and when this virus has calmed down i can get back to my band practices just time management and a poor sleeping routine XD.
i started copying the prince of persia assets to get a grasp of how good animation works i still copy the odd bit here and there but moving more towards using animal pictures to avoid copyright.
i really like that dizzy program your writing lots to learn from it!

Thanks a lot :) you’re a machine! I guess you’re right about just finding your routine and working out where your spare time is. And if I can get all the hard work for the engine done now, the fun part of making the map can be done as and when.

setting up for level 2 (save the frog) from the Terror.
Also added in bitcoin which will eventually be used as bargaining chips for the reaper (to be drawn) dictating whether or not you'll be cast to the beginning or from your last check point.
music il dull the volume after the boss is dead and stop it as the new tunes beat comes in hopefully it will mix well if not il tim westwood it and stick an explosion sample in between :)

gonna dive into the second level tomorrow/today i have added in player animation/ jump and stab/joist fixed more little bugs. need to sort animation of the player on the bird,probably scale the player sprite to 0 as my camera is set to it and il draw the player on the bird.
Not gonna spoil my idea for the boss fight with the terror dactyl but it will be one to remember.
then i better get the first 2 levels done before the Gigagoyle. just hope with the way iv done my code that fuze can handle my scope for the entire game, maybe split it up into parts if thats the casemade some good progress No slow down or any issues after adding a big chunk to the map :) Now have animations set up, looks so much better when you jump and joust. also added an extra animation and mechanic to the bird "grab" (no flapy bird clones here) ;) also set the player cam back a little :)
