Wow, what an achievement This game is amazing, and the fact that you managed to complete it in a relatively short time frame is just incredible.
Let's break it down:
Setting and atmosphere
So the game takes place in a run-down part of town, where the protagonist finds himself after taking on the case of a missing person. The street where you conduct your investigation is just dripping with atmosphere, and it really has a great sense of being a lived-in place. You meet a lot of interesting people, and while they (understandably) are a bit thinly characterized, they still manage to feel like distinct personalities, many with very particular and amusing speech patterns.Audio and visuals
This is spot on. The moody music, the low lightning in the street, the little sound effects here and there. I just love the little details that makes everything come alive, like the car that goes around, and the blinking neon light. Even the title screen feels like a labor of love, with its animated menus and logo, and the mysterious house up front that really sets the mood.Story
There is plenty of fun banter to be had with the people you meet. Little references to the Fuze community and plenty of jokes (and a very famous riddle from Alice in Wonderland, no less). Talking to the same person multiple times often gives you humorous responses, but is often also necessary to get further into the investigation. At first, no-one seems to want to give you any info, but as you gather more and more evidence, they will eventually open up and reveal more puzzle pieces to you.The mystery is a great one, the story is tight, and it all comes down to a satisfying conclusion in the end. Top marks!Extras
Once again, I'm just amazed with the attention to details. Dialogues are nice and easy to use, with the text fully readable in docked mode as well. You can change volume of sound effect and music, and there is even a save system and an inventory system included! Conclusion
One of the first interactive story games in Fuze, and I must say that the bar is set really high now. Everyone should try it out, it's engaging and beautifully done. I am keeping my fingers crossed for more moody cases for our hard-boiled detective in the future! -
@vinicity Thanks for the glowing review!
Is this the first game review of a Fuze4NS program? π
-
I really enjoyed the game a lot and have played through it a couple of times now, thanks for creating it!

Maybe we should set up a review thread, where people can review other's works?
-
@vinicity Only if we have nice things to say. For everyone except Fuze team and partners, itβs largely a hobby. And then also many or most are still learning. I worry if someone has some criticisms that the receiver might be demoralized or unhappy.
Not the current community but in the future perhaps? -
@SteveZX81 Multiple times! Thanks! Iβm glad you enjoyed the game. π

Very well done! This is a fun and atmospheric mystery to solve, and I liked the solution /ending!
-
I'm a bit late to the party; but have to say, I appreciate what you have accomplished here! If this doesn't get into the Showcase Gallery, what can?
-
@CasualTie5
Thanks CT! π -
Why do none of @Jongjungbu 's projects ever work?
-
@tigerboy3050 he's unshared them and taking a break, how long the break will be is not known.
-
@waldron why would he unshare them? π‘ I can understand the break but.. unsharing thats really sad it looks like he has a lot of good stuff.
-
Only he knows that. But it is his work and he can do what he wants with it. A shame though
-
@pianofire Oh yes, What a shame. But yes you are right it is his work... But i do wish he kept it posted.
-
Yes he stopped using Fuze, a huge shame as he was really nice and his games were so cool. it's a shame he removed them all.
