Hey folks!
As I'm sure you're aware, it's Halloween weekend! Perfect time for a Gamejam! The theme is...
TRICK XOR TREAT!
Your game must be either a Trick or a Treat, but it can't be both!
Will you try to spook me on the live stream? Or make me smile? :) I like being scared so they aren't mutually exclusive really, I just couldn't not use that pun!
You have until 18:00 (GMT) Sunday evening (1st November) to submit. This provides a few extra hours for this one!
Stream begins at 19:00 GMT!
Submitting:
Make sure "Fuze Game Jam 7" is in the description of your game. In comments at the top of the program is also acceptable.
Share your program via "Program Options" -> Share Program.
Submit your program for download via Share Menu -> "My Shared Programs" -> Select program -> "Submit"So excited as always to see what happens! Can't wait to play your submission!
EDIT: Since it's a Halloween vibe, I'm expecting some slightly darker themes, but it should go without saying that a submission won't be accepted if it depicts gratuitous violence or adult material of any kind. Fantasy/abstract violence/horror themes are okay. Any questions on this feel free to message me.

@Dave can I be really cheeky and ask if Isaac's can be near the beginning, so he can see it before he goes to bed.

but was able to submit a game nonetheless :D

Sadly, my game is not finished. There is a scene, you can move, but no score, no collision. @Dave its up to you, if you show it or not, to be fair to the others that completed a whole game, I would have no problem if 100% of the streaming time is dedicated to them. Or make a vote before showing it: > 10 thumbs show it. ;-) as an idea.

@spikey In my opinion, a Game Jam is all about creating anything, so for me and many others it is very much appreciated to see any kind of result in the stream!

Ha ha! If you change line 76 to read
mode = treatin Richard’s Music Player, then it works as a music player for Dave’s songs! -

@vinicity you can also press X while the game is running to toggle between trick and treat mode. There was a subtle hint in the comments at the top of the code. Clearly too subtle.

Another cool detail is that “Yay Candy!” has four different endings! 🤩

In the touch screen game Pumpkin Shooter missed pumpkins return, if you missed them, so you get another chance. I like that.
