If I had my own contest would anyone particapate?

Hi i want to do my own contest where i suggest my own topic and people can submit games and i can chose a winner. If i did this would anybody participate?

Not quite sure about this. It feels like I wouldn’t really have time and energy to do another recurring competition outside of the game jam?
It would depend on the scope and theme, I guess...
But, you can always give it a try. It is always fun to have more stuff going on in the Fuze community...

if the time frame is different from the normal gamejam 48hrs it might be funCon:-
you would have to make sure it does not conflict with the normal gamejams
Not sure I like the idea of having a winner as it means all the others are losers and considering all the time and effort people put into their games, that's not good.Do you have a theme in mind?

@SteveZX81 I think i wanted to do it as like I dunno. A longer competition? For like a few days? And yeah I'll try not to make it conflict with normal gamejams. And for the theme. Well if i do the competition it will be a suprise!

I like the idea... though an excuse to create something for fun is always a good idea for me... but yeah as long as it don't conflict with game jams and no winners or losers. I mean everyone in the FUZE community make such amazing projects and it's hard to pick favorites when you understand the hard work that goes into each game and project. Though a fun little creation event would be fun to participate in!
