Do my projects back-up in a cloud?
-
Hi again, folks!
I was wondering - does FUZE treat my projects as "savegames"? In other words - do they back-up in a cloud (providing, of-coarse, I have an active Nintendo-online subscription)?
Because I really don't want to invest some (or maybe even a lot) of my time into a project just to realize later that it's gone for good when I say hard-reset or maybe even change my console for some reason..

@evilblade If you share a project then there will be a copy on our server that you can download again later
-
@pianofire OoooKaay, but not all projects can be shared here if I got it right? There's sime sort of approval process by you guys?
-
@evilblade So it is a bit complicated but this is how it kind of evolved. Originally there was only something called Friend Share where you could share projects only with people who you had friended on the Switch. Later a share by download code was added to allow wider sharing. Only the code share programs have to be approved. Either way there is a copy on the server
-
@pianofire If you share a program it becomes visible to your friends (who have Fuze). If you then submit it it goes through the approval process and can be downloaded by anyone who you give the code to

Oh.. think I've got it.. just to clarify: if I share my project but not submit it - your approval isn't needed? So, every project can be shared and redownloaded later? If that's the case, then.. cool :)
-
@evilblade That is correct

OK then, tnaks a lot :)
