FUZE Gamejam 16! 8th - 10th April // THEME: HEALTH!

Hi everyone - time for a Gamejam! It's a little delayed due to health complications in the team these last couple of weeks, but we're all back to normal now and excited for another Gamejam weekend.
This will be a 2-Day jam starting at 12:00 (BST) today - Friday 8th April.
The theme is... HEALTH! As always, interpret this in any way you choose. We love to see creative interpretations!
Good luck everyone!

Be Advised
This theme could be interpreted in a variety of ways. As usual, content which is gruesome, contains explicit reference to violence or themes of an adult nature will not be showcased on the stream. References toward certain mental health themes or experiences which we think could be too close to home for some, or language that evokes too much emotional distress and might be inappropriate for a young audience will also likely not be showcased.
Feel free to run an idea past us if you have questions.
Thanks as always for your understanding.

What’s wrong with directly referencing mental health issues? Seems odd to have that in there…
-
Woohoo! I already had an idea from a while ago that seems to tie in nicely with this theme. I’ve made a start, hope I can finish and join the stream :D
-
@toxibunny for clarity, it's not that the theme of mental health cannot be used outright, but that if it is, it should be approached sensitively in terms of the language used and portayal of it. We don't want to upset people. To that end, if we think a game contains references to mental health in a way which could be too close to home for some, or perhaps contains language that evokes emotional distress to a concerning level, we will err on the side of caution and will not showcase it on stream.
This of course applies to the overall theme of Health too. I'll change the wording in the post as I should have been more descriptive.
Hope this clears it up somewhat. Feel free to run an idea past us in a message if you're not sure.

Thanks, Dave. That’s much better.
