Tanks - a tribute to Atari 2600 Combat!

I wanted to hold off starting a WIP thread until I was sure I'd finish the game, well its pretty much done now. (apart from a couple of little tweaks)
It's a simple tank shooting game but it's 4 players only. (well I guess 2 could play but you'd also have two tanks just sat there doing nothing) Each player has three lives. No extra lives or score, this is as simple as it gets. (forgot to mention there are 7 different maps, one is picked randomly at the start)
I sadly cannot share it right now as sharing is broken for me, but as soon as the issue is fixed, I will share the game.

If I could upvote this more than once then I would. Having seen you come from nothing to a first published game is fantastic to see.

That's a very good question and sadly I cannot answer as I only have 2 joycons and 4 pro controllers (my family quickly decided the joycons were too small for their hands, so we all got a pro controller (or compatible)
I hope it does but I have no way of testing it, sorry.

Small and possible final update added. I saw that in the Atari arcade Tanks game (not combat) there were mines on the map, I liked that so I'd added some.
Perhaps I'll try to create a different tank explosion for the mines but I'll call it a day then.

Just a tiny and final update.
Tanks v1.0 is now shared if you want to try a 4 player tanks game. Please feel free to play it but I advise you not to look at the code, it is beyond horrible and there are lots of bits I could have shortened or tidied up but I really haven't had the heart to work on it the last couple of days.
Sadly there is no 1 player version it's aimed at 4 players only so the game will be pretty much useless to most people but I hope someone, somewhere gets a tiny bit of fun out of it.
as lame as it is, I wish to dedicate my game to the Fuze Devs and Fuze Arena staff. you all rock!

@SteveZX81 Hi Steve been really enjoying your game luckily i got to download it before the sharing broke, don't know if your still holding up your garlic and onion to revisiting the game but
thought it would be awesome for players to lay there own mines.you maybe keeping it true to the original
but having a separate tanks game with this would be fun boxing in other players with mines. -
Thanks, actually thats a very neat idea. I really should revisit the game as there is a bug right now that only happens on a 2nd+ game.
but yeah, if I get around to hunting for the bug I could add player mines too. thanks for the idea! -

Thanks. I think I finally got the bug it had but until I connect 4 controllers I won't know for sure, fingers crossed.
