Those Magnificent Men...

I'm working on a game with the working title 'Those Magnificent Men' and it is a scrolling shooter along the lines of Scramble. You fly a WW1 aircraft (let's be posh and say it's an SE5A) and you have to shoot and bomb the enemy.
Each level will have one major target and you will be briefed at the beginning of the level and the level ends when you either bomb this target or miss it.

Edit: oops, I meant to edit this days ago and forgot. Sadly this project is now dead and buried as some moron (ie: me) tried to delete a copy of the game and make a new copy when he was half asleep and ended up not only deleting the old copy but the original too. ..hells bells.. I really didn't feel like starting from scratch so sadly this is an ex-project.

I like the looks of this, just a thought, the plane appears to be stable at a certain height. Have you thought of adding a flappy bird mode? You're either giving it power to go up or it's starting to drop?
