I think I'm running out of your memory
-
I'm starting to lose things that I thought were saved. Which were my first experiments in fuze like pong.
Is there a hard limit.
I've lost more which I spent a lot of time on so this would be helpful. -
That is quite worrying.. I have a ton of projects.
-
Yes i was thinking of you Steve and the problems youve had from the start. So I'm down to 45 megabyte on main memory and have 110 gigabytes left on my card
-
And guess what NO I don't want to lose anything so I won't transfer to the card until I know what's going on
-
@xevdev I am afraid that I don't know the answer to this question but I will try to find out for you. I would hope that it wouldn't just drop stuff off if you did run out of space but would stop you creating more.
-
I believe all game saves are stored on the system memory so moving other games to the sd card might help.
-
Well I can create more.
But I haven't been able to share for a while , locally.
That's been happening for month's.
And Iwas thinking of Steve cos he has a lot of games so is main memory a problem -
I would be nice to know if we have a hard limit and what Fuze does when it reaches that. Devs?
-
@SteveZX81 I have raised a query pointing at this thread
-
Thanks very much!
-
OK so the answer I have back is:
The default save data limit is 64MiB, and it should be capable of expanding up to 256MiB in 16MiB increments
If there is not enough space it should produce an error saying “Not enough free space.”
-
256? damn, and here's me thinking I could fill up my remaining 21.3gb of system storage with Fuze projects. ;)
(my save atm is 129 (which is odd.. shouldn't it be 128?) anyway I guess I have some space yet)Thanks @pianofire
So @xevdev how large is your savefile?
-
Going to look as soon as I'm back home
-
@SteveZX81 same as you and my switchlite has about 64 mb which seems odd as I don't have nearly as much on that
