Get your game in the FUZE SHOWCASE GALLERY!

@CasualTie5 Which game is that? Just looking now and I think it was reshared as the same name so I'm not seeing it at the top of my list.

I would like to submit my game "Fuze Fit Adventure 2" to the Showcase Gallery.

I'll be submitting Parasail Pat tonight :) Such a silly, simple game and I'm so glad people like it!
I'll also be submitting Dizzy and Eye of the Switch Warrior (my RPG) but goshdarnit if I just cannot find 5 minutes for myself these days! I'll need to fix following the update if I can, and then I'll need to add reset features which I expect will be a mission and a half. Hope to get both done by Xmas :) -
@Dave oops, you're right, my bad!
tried it again now (the name is "No Escape from Red Hell") -
So, when is the next planned update for the Showcase gallery?
Can you update it on-the-fly, or is it only able to be updated when you release new Fuze patches?
-
This showcase is one of my favorite features of FUZE. Not only do I get to download and play amazing games but I can put something on there for anyone to download directly and enjoy! I have downloaded all the showcase games and enjoyed every last one. can't wait to see what others make for the showcase in the future!
-
The showcase is entirely independent of releases. I have no inside knowledge on what the actual plans are for how often it will be updated but I know it doesn’t need to wait for a release. Think of it as your best friend in your friends list.

I'm surprised to hear that; would have assumed people started submitting their games, yet the number of programmes hasn't inscreased thus far
-
@CasualTie5 People are submitting and it's very exciting indeed! However, we haven't added all of them to the Showcase just yet - other things are happening too. You will be seeing them soon!
-
I believe my submission to the showcase gallery is in order unless I surprise myself with another bug or grammar mistake.

Here is my game I would like to submit for the Showcase Gallery

The Showcase Gallery is such an awesome idea! However, I think it would be nice with some clarity into how the process for this works.
Does the Fuze team decide wether a submitted game ends up in the gallery? If so, what are the criteria?
What is the expected waiting time from the moment a game is submitted until it appears in the gallery?
Will you update it at a regular interval or does it happen whenever something is ready to be added?

Did Smack Man made it to the showcase review process? I just added "Showcase Submission" to the description. Z8463MNDN8

Is Dashing Guard ever going to get in the Showcase Gallery?

Hi everyone. Just wanted to apologise for the delay here - I can see theres some tension building haha! I also appreciate that we should perhaps shed some more light on the process. I hope I can answer this to some satisfaction.
1. Does the Fuze Team decide if a game passes submission?
Yes - it's a joint decision. Criteria simply are whether the game is "complete" - it has a load screen if necessary, a title, some sort of gameplay, and an ending condition. Everything else is kind of up for grabs! If it's got bugs and errors appearing this will be an issue and we will do our best to work with the author to figure it out. In the case that a game idea isn't quite developed enough, I'm very happy to discuss ideas with the author.Goes without saying but a submission will be rejected if it contains any material referenced in the original post. Other than that, no restrictions on theme/content exist. We don't want to limit people's creativity.
In any case that we think a program is almost there but just needs a few tweaks, we will discuss ideas with the author and offer help where needed.
There will likely be no cases where a showcase game is submitted and rejected without reason given and a chance for discussion, but we of course retain the right to do this if we deem it appropriate. For example, if a game was submitted to the gallery which deliberately went out of its way to break the guidelines on suitable material, this will likely be totally ignored as a submission since it has been made abundantly clear. Again, I'm happy to advise on material before submission if an author wants to bounce ideas around before investing their time.
2. What is the expected waiting time from the moment a game is submitted until it appears in the gallery?/Will you update it at a regular interval or does it happen whenever something is ready to be added?
Of course depending on the submission, it may take different amounts of time to get a game to the point of being in the gallery. Even when a game is all ready to go, we may want to wait until the next Gallery Update to add it.As of right now, we do not have a strict structure set in place for when we will update the Gallery. We are learning as we do this. It of course depends on the flow of games - I imagine there will be bridges that can only be crossed when we come to them.
The Showcase Gallery will of course be updated when the Patch 3.0.0 hits. However, this doesn't mean we can't add a game before that. In the future we will try to make updates to the gallery a regularly spaced thing, to keep a stream of fresh content coming. Like I said, this is also contingent on the flow of games.
In short, the answer to these 2 questions is "I'm not exactly sure yet!", but please be patient.
@ratrat44 Your game will absolutely be going in upon the patch release Showcase Update.
