@Retrocade_media, the game list can be found here, it seems:

-
Congratulations to the Fuze team! A great achievement, for sure!
-
Great news! Exciting video! I appreciate how my solitaire game made it to the video as well :)
I'll definitely share the video, and I hope it will bring the right people to this community :)
-
Yay now my friend who wants to play my game can at a cheap price!
-
I’m going to be looking everywhere for people playing missiles on YouTube
-
Why can't it be sold for Free?
-
You will have to ask Nintendo that
-
Can imagine plenty of people have Nintendo gold coins from previous purchases to be able to get it for free .....
-
@Tri0pticon unless it's a demo, you can't make a game free on the eShop (that doesn't have microtransactions). And the team didn't want to make it merely a demo
-
@pianofire RPG Maker MV Player is free and that has no in app purchases.
Also can't you make the full Fuze an in app purchase? -
Look all I can tell you is Nintendo wouldn't let us
-
I'm sure if you were a japanese company it would be okay though.
-
Will the Fuze Player have support for community download codes? How is downloading other games going to work? Or will the list be curated and updated regularly?
-
I think the plan at the moment is that you will only be able to download from the showcase gallery but games will be added to this over time. I might be wrong about this!
-
fingers crossed for download codes
-
So... outside of the showcase games, is it at all possible for a owner of the fuze player to directly download my personal game that may not be in the showcase? I just bought this player to test this out and APPARENTLY you can only get the showcase games... I was under the impression that there might be a code system or some way at all to allow my friends to check out my programs without having to wait for them to be in the showcase?
If not, it's still not a reason for too many people to buy fuze in order to be able to directly play their friends' creations without them having to be "featured" -
I do agree that ideally, everything approved for public share should be accessible through the player. That’s not the way it works at the moment though..
-
i imagine that there's a lot of forces at play, what we want, what Fuse wants and what Nintendo wants with a bucket of compromises. If we could get a player with separate functions/ 3 tab menu of Explore Fuze / Approved Games / Works in progress Games it would be easier to navigate but in the here and now im happy they got it released and we have a good selection of games to play as well as others
-
That basic sentiment is alright, being glad that it was in fact released is a giant step in the right direction... Nintendo themselves should already NOT be in this equation whatsoever after the point of Fuze BEING a program in it's library, Nintendo's involvement should end THERE. What Fuze WANTS is undoubtedly important because they are level-headed and logical, I TRUST their decisions.. I simply feel that it would be a logical next step to provide a way... because let's be honest.. the name of the software is FUZE PLAYER... it's not FUZE APPROVED GALLERY GAME PLAYER.. MOST people who don't have the language are going to spend the .99 cents EXPECTING LOGICALLY that they will be able to jump in and test their best friend's own games / software right away because it's just FUZE PLAYER.. and that's simply where most logical minds will go to.... so please.. let's either rename it if it's ONLY going to showcase games.. so that it's not misleading.. or announce an actual effort to allow and it's quite simple. a download code just like SMM2 or Animal Crossing's Dodo codes.. maybe the friend who has Fuze4 can email or text their code privately to their friend with the Fuze Player.. if they wish not to make their W.I.P. public.? Some thoughts? (also I hold NO animosity in ANY way towards the devs here, I am ONLY stating that intentions for this player should be made clear and if it IS only to support their choices in the gallery, then appropriately rename the player to reflect that). it leaves a good bit up to interpretation right now and anyone would be within their logical rights to assume they COULD simply play anybody's Fuze4 programs.
-
Footnote : This is the ONLY reason I have yet to do anything past my initial w.i.p. at this point because I am waiting to see if THIS very thing comes true, otherwise I cannot MAKE Fuze put my software up in the gallery and I am not going to assume it is good enough to be showcased by their standards, that's THEIR right. I just want to know that I can tell a friend to get the player and be able to help me playtest.. at THAT point I will come out of the woodwork and actually begin working on my brainchildren
