Your ongoing projects!

I'm sure most of us have a collection of half finished (or even less) games. Show us what you're sitting on!
Here are mine (in no order)
Shooter
This was a space invaders like game I started some time back, the things I liked about it was that you could fire too much and overheat your gun, also the top level of enemies have a nasty weapon waiting if you clear the line to them.
Fuzerk
My tribute to one of the best arcade games of the early 80s, Berzerk! I never did finish it as I had a weird and rather rare bug I never did track down.
Bubble Bounce
A simple puzzle/shooter where you have to bounce to change the colour of the tiles and match the entire row to the target colour and then a new row is added, you also duck to avoid enemies or fire soap suds at them if you have enough
Bubbles
Simple puzzle game where you hold the button down to bounce higher and try to collect the colours shown
Moonbase
Another arcade tribute, this time Missile Command
got quite far with this but it was never completed.Star Castle
Yet another arcade tribute, this time Star Castle (or Stellar Castle as it was known in some places) Sadly a bug with the enemy sparks killed this game off.
Fuzitar
Yep, arcade again and this time a game based on the superb Gravitar game. Managed to get to switch levels but for some reason I stopped work on it.
Crazy Bubble
Yes I'm also seeing some obsession with bubbles here.. weird, but this was going to be a game like Crazy Balloon but as you can see I didn't get far and it wasn't very good anyway
Laser Blast
A copy of one of my favourite Atari 2600 games, Laser Blast by Activision. This was pretty much 90% complete but was never finished.
Heli Scramble
Based on the classic Scramble game. I didn't get very far with this because doing all the 100's of tiny collision shapes for the map in the map editor was a bit of a nightmare so I dropped it.
UFO rescue
This was going to be a wraparound game like Defender, you can see I got the radar/minimap working great but actually coding the "wraparound" even with help I couldn't manage it and the game was dropped
Cops
an old game that I was working on before the last patch (you can see the patch kind of messed up the sprites and collision boxes) The idea was to run around and knock the coins to the bottom and get away from the cops. I was abandoned due to lack of interest.
Now I've shown you my embarrassments, you show me yours?

Realized that I did not know what I was doingHahah this is painfully relatable! Idle FUZE looks fantastic and I'm a sucker for idle/clicker games so I'm crossing my fingers that you'll be taken by the idea again. I actually started my own clicker program ages ago but gave up... when I realised I did not know what I was doing haha.
Steve, those are some awesome looking games! And such variety! You must have learned an awful lot from coding all of those different mechanics and visuals.

Ninja, wanted to make a ninja gaiden type but due to poor planning was sure to hit scope issues. I have better implementation techniques so will hopefully revisit.
I lost my hud image and never shared it unfortunately will hopefully redraw it at some point as it could be used in many games
One of many adaptations of skaterkid my first project.
Adventures of Jayfox a sonic clone without the spinning and speed, no reason to not finish this maybe one day.
A strange tower defense game.
Seeker, unfortunately hit a patch issue But need to plan better as it's been through a few different builds.
No name, single screen battle but never got round to adding the fate and fortune cards
Not to sure about this one, could maybe fix a few things to make it easier.
Giga, wanted to add more to this old gamejam game.
Shooter platformerHave a great many more..
Forgot to mention Skyblade also -
Some amazing looking stuff in this thread. The potential is crazy!

Agreed, some amazing looking things here. Very creative, very polished even in the planning stages. I’m jealous I don’t have time to try and keep up! My ongoing projects are:
- Save / reset features for Dizzy.
- Easier setting for my sunflower / bees game.
- Maths / football game with touch controls.
- (The big one.) My ZX RPG.

Love this thread!
Here are mine:
Misspelt Poets Society
My current project is to update an old Game Jam project of mine. I've been adding new animations, and new levels.
Many Tanks
My 8-player tank battle game. I need to get back to this. A lot of it is done, but I plan to add various weapons, and a weapon store mechanic as well.
Euclidean Sequencer
An interesting way to make music and rhythms. I started this as a way to create and add music to my games. I couldn't really figure out the right approach to saving and integrating the player in ones projects, but I will get back to it. Most likely I will use Gothon's file system for that.
Sneak
Started this as an experiment to see if I could do a ray-caster thing, and then had plans to make it into a proper game. Unfortunately I ran into FPS problems that I couldn't quite solve.
Genial Chess AI version
I really wanted to do a proper AI for my chess program. I did all the code for it, but it turned out way too slow. The way I had structured the game was not very optimised for speed, so a lot of it has to be re-written if I want to make it faster. Maybe I will revisit this when Fuze is updated to support byte code (whenever that happens)! The video shows the AI actually making a move, but then I cut the part where it has been thinking for two minutes before that happens.

This feels a bit like laying down on the couch. Ok, Dr. Steve, I hope this is gonna make me feel better afterwards.... 20 min later.. I started/quick fixed😳💥now all the projects, I still have in my mind to get done:
- 3D Cube Match : the matching algorithm has to be rewritten
- Cats Drive: from a game jam, needs some curves
- Chicken Aid: I am looking for a cricket sound
- Shadows in the Dark: I am too scared to continue (and the bushes are gone)
- Stroll Wars: Training area finished, tuning the shooting
- Last Worm Creeping: could integrate the Quad Tree object collision, but I am checking now line by line to get some more fps
😅 Good post Steve.
