Revisited Skyblade nearly finished level 1, it's far from perfect.
Updates include upgradable power shots
working bombs
turrets
big boss
and 2 player support
fully loops game states -
That looks amazing! Like a proper arcade shooter!
A suggestion: maybe it would be easier to bomb stuff if you have a crosshair for the bombs in front of the plane instead?

Can I make a tiny suggestion? When the bomb hits the ground/ground target, maybe consider putting a bomb crater sprite there? -

Not sure if my shares are working but finished level 1, gonna take a break from it and tidy up the code and add more levels at a later date.
Currently level 1 playable up untill you / if you beat the boss. 😊
