      Hi Everybody,

I'm wondering how do you working with github / gitlab or something like this? We are a "coding family" and wanna work together with merge/pull request.

Sometimes we aim to do mob- or even pair-programming.

On larger projects sometimes feature branches are helpful to experiment with solutions.

And by the way: I love to maintain a proper semver.org style Release-History.

What is your solution for that on fuze programming?

One thing I did within my family was also get Fuze for my daughter's Switch. Then she could work on art and level designs on her unit in parallel with me and my son writing the code on mine. Yes, you need to buy Fuze twice-- but think of it as a seat licensing scheme.

To "merge", we should just share her art project from her Switch, download the latest version of it on mine, and copy the new and updated assets in. Worked great.

There is no way to get source code into or out of Fuze from the outside world that I'm aware of, so what I described above is the closest you'll get to what you're looking for. Maybe in the future the Fuze team could add some kind of GitHub-esque integration-- but it could be complicated, and they are a tiny team. Additionally, Nintendo has put a lot of restrictions on them as far as allowing importation of data from outside of Nintendo's walled garden.

Ah yes. It's Nintendo. Hope their mindset becomes a bit more open. Thanx.

How do you share artwork between switches?

@yoda4u you create a project on switch 2 and make art in it. Then you share it and enter the code in switch 1.
Open The Art project and copy the artwork into your code project iirc

If you are Nintendo friends, you do not need to go through the approval process, nor enter the code for the download. Shared projects end up on the Friends tab in Fuze..
