I am slow but still working on my synth, doing the backend to support a sequencer that can do patch per step so 16 patches at once on a 16 step sequencer that supports patch per step, so can do 256 patches within 16 note song, so might add some of these as patches. Do you find the sine wave very quiet. Also not documented you can set the speed value below 0 for some strange happenings

Thanks for the tip, I'll test that later on!

I have the FM Sound Designer shared now, if you want to take a look.

Your project is quite cool @Nisse5 now that I tried it. But I must admit what is cooler and more useful for me are all the sound effect examples you posted above. Using some in my text adventure now 😁

I wouldn’t mind it if you came up with some more haha

Yes, I can do some more if you want to. Any particular sound requests?

@Nisse5 Something that sounds closer to a "whiff" or "whoosh" for a missed attack.

Footsteps, Im thinking like Dragon Warrior/Quest (NES) when you take the stairs.

Remember the old cure potion drinking sound from the original Final Fantasy games?

None of these need be perfect or identical. I mean I'm using your gunshot for a miss sound effect and it does alright 😁

Any extra sounds would be much appreciated.

Using the pass filters as well for some of these sounds.

                  Footstep sound:

                  Rain sound:

                  Big space rocket sound:

Steam train sound (you can change the speed of the train by altering the MIDI key number on the first source code row a bit):

@Jongjungbu Do you have any links to good "whoosh" or "cure potion" sounds? Does the footstep sound above work?

@pianofire I need to isolate each sound in the game in some way... That game has really excellent sound design BTW.

@Nisse5 Doesn't it though! It was fairly ground breaking at the time.

                    Aphex Twin sampled it:

                    (towards the end)

@Nisse5 The footsteps sound effect works great! I just played it twice with a 1/10 of a second sleep and it sounds perfect in my text adventure (room transitions).

I couldn't find good links for the other sound effects you asked for the examples of.

When I add magic to my text adventure, I'd like to have spell called Zap first. So some kind of buzzing sound effect could work I am thinking.

@Jongjungbu Here are some attempts: 2 "zaps", 1 "schwoosh" and a sonar sound.

                            Zap 1:

                            Zap 2:

                            Schwoosh:

                            Sonar sound:

Just to let you know @Nisse5 I used the swoosh (lowered freq slightly) for a missed attack. I used zap1 for the Light spell I added to my text adventure. Zap2 I will save for the actual zap spell. 😀

@Jongjungbu Great that you find use for them! Are they in the latest shared version of the text adventure?
