Crash after you copy a program
-
If this has already been listed then sorry guys.
For what seems like the fourth/fifth time today I got a general failure right after I copied one of my programs. here is a screengrab in case it helps.
it's not crashing everytime I copy a program, it's like once every 3rd-4th time or so.
Oh and for the record, line 135 in my game is actually blank.. no really, it's empty!!
its like134 endif

@SteveZX81 Please could you share the program Steve and I will see if I can reproduce the problem

Which one mate because it's never the same one. (meaning different games/programs do it)

When you say copy. Do you mean copy the project or copying and pasting code. You could copy the code and paste it into a brand new project. It may fix the problem. I had a similar issue but was related to an image i made for my program that later became unreadable and caused a similar error.

Sorry I mean when I go into 'programs', press x and select copy. Then when I return to my original program (ie the one that was copied) I get the crash. not always but perhaps once in every 4-5 times.

@SteveZX81 we have a possible working theory on why you might be getting this but we need to do more investigation.
It would be very useful to know if anyone else is seeing it? Please respond if you have.

@Martin I have experienced hard crashes after making a project copy, but in my cases they were pre-patch. The bug might still be around, it's just that I'm much more cautious when doing copies now.
EDIT: I just remember that I got some strangeness yesterday, after I made a backup copy. After trying to run a program, I got an error on a line that didn't exist in my current code. And after trying again, the "disk with flower" to the upper right (when you start a program) just hanged. Restarting FUZE corrected it.

See, I'm not telling porkies ;)

@SteveZX81 thank you that's helpful. I believe it is different to the problem experienced by @Nisse5 pre-patch (which I also had once or twice). I beleive that may have been a sharing issue, my working theory for yours is different but I don't want to speculate.
