The good news? My MML Player doesn't run into the Stack Overflow error anymore.
The bad news? Instead, my program causes FUZE to freeze after a little more than a minute of MML playback, requiring that I force-close it from the Switch Home menu. -
Patch is out for me, just got it.
-
@Discostew Is it now freezing at the point where it would have crashed? or is it earlier / later?
-
I've a got a freeze now instead a stack overlow on SNAKE.
The same as @Discostew -
Thank you. I already tested the image editor: the copy paste will speed up things a lot, even rotating and sizing during pasting is possible, well done. Thats real pixel art fun.

I wish I could remember exactly at what point it originally would crash with the stack overflow error. Maybe a little later?

No freezing issues yet on my apps that crashed with overflow.

I've just run through all of the programs on my switch both mine and those shared by others and I don't have any issues anywhere.
If there are specific examples that have issues then it would be good to get them shared to us so they can be investigated please.
-
I'll reshare mine when I have the chance. About to head to work.

Ok, re-sharing, listed as DiscoMML v0.3 (though I was expecting to do more with it before releasing this version). To note, I have 2 tracks to select from which I was testing the new build (can switch between the two on first line). The first one is what causes the entire FUSE environment to freeze at around 1m 13s of playtime. Audio completely shuts off at that time, unlike when it catches an error where it holds whatever note that was last played. The second causes neither a full freeze nor a stack overflow, but instead errors with an "Unrecognized type", with a large negative value at around 41 seconds of playback, which is much sooner than it did with the stack overflow error in the prior build, and directs to a line of the code that has nothing to do with the error.
I did make sure to do a full reboot of the system just in case. I also disabled use of Timers (which still don't work when called within a function), but the problems persist. It stinks because I recently thought up something crazy that I wanted program into it.

The next one will be a big one!
