Help with 2d platform jumping

I'm making a platform game and the tutorials about jumping dont seem to work under my circumstances I used the map editor to make my map and My character is a single image that's all I want but I do need it to jump.

Check out the tutorial, what I do I load the full tutorial code and work backwards from there changing what I need it sinks in as I go

There will be a few updated demo programs added to Fuze in an upcoming patch which contain a better foundation for using the map and sprite commands with player controls. This should really help here!
