@waldron OK that is interesting. I have just been randomly drawing for about half an hour with no problems. What was the tile size?

Dont know if its because its stretched to far or what but I dont want to stretch it as I go because it will change the tile numbers

@waldron That looks like an awful lot of work! Maybe it is related to the size of the sprite sheet. I will try that next

That alien! Haha, amazing mate.
It could be worth splitting up the sprite sheet into smaller sizes for the different characters, although that would entail a lot of work. Should be fine with a maximum size spritesheet, I'll be testing this too.

i had separate sheets for my previous game but the way im doing it now wants all my characters on one sheet im pretty much locked in with what i know thus far.
one way i can create layers but no enemies items this way im doing now i get enemies and items but cant do layers
