Any Idea how to define an if statement
-
it would be very useful if somebody would write an example for defining an if statement.
-
There is a help page here: https://fuzearena.com/help/view/if
and a tutorial here: https://fuzearena.com/help/view/If Then Statements

@pianofire i meant how to define one not to use them because i need one for the interpretor
-
@petermeisenstein Sorry misunderstood
-
@pianofire does you now have any idea
-
So is this for your Python interpreter? Personally I think that this going to be very hard work and you are going to definitely run into performance problems. Fuze is already an interpreted language and you want to write another interpreter in it? Good luck to you though if you are going to do it!
I found this article on stack exchange which may be useful https://softwareengineering.stackexchange.com/questions/283409/how-can-i-implement-an-if-statement-in-an-interpreter
-
@pianofire Thank you yeah youre right fuze is already an interpreted language.Probably written in c or c++ but i know you cant go in details.But i am happy that you like my idea.
-
@petermeisenstein when i will finish the interpretor then it will one of the biggest projects on fuze.actually it would be a programming language in a programming language but it wont be much fast but it would be cool if fuze developers could switch to python.Normally i am very interested in writing an operating system but not in fuze cause you know you cant programm low level in fuze
