Crash when accessing tools
-
no access again cant seem to fix, deleted old programs plus created some still nothing.....
-
@waldron got it working lol
-
Yeah I had it again last night, had to create three new programs before it would work without crashing.
Hopefully the devs can find the problem. -
@SteveZX81 Do you still have one of the files that crashes? If so can you share it (not submit) and let me know. I will see if I can reproduce the problem

Already shared a copy 3-4 days ago, Dave grabbed it. but if you want another copy then I guess so. but no playing my game. it's not ready yet ;)

@SteveZX81 Which one is it?
-
@pianofire I'll contact you in chat about this one dude
-
Edit.. nevermind
-
Just for the record it's totally stopped working now. I've tried to use it at various times today, deleting and creating projects in the hope it would work again but sadly I failed totally. Boo :(
However I will not let it ruin fuze for me, going to make a text only game.
But I'll be a happy Steve again when you fix it or find a workaround.
Edit: I deleted all my backups/copies of carnival and then the image editor worked again (for now at least) so go figure..??

Guys, any official word on this, ie you fixed it in an upcoming patch, you know of it and are sorting it, you have no idea what is causing it or it's not important so it can wait (lol sorry)
I am trying to be patient and I know you are a small team but I'm getting worried that at some point this might stop me from using the image and map editors altogether.
normally when it starts crashing if I create a new project and just type a dozen lines of // or so it then works (go figure!?) but yesterday I had to create four new blank projects before it would stop crashing. I'm getting scared at some point it'll never stop crashing.a little update on this would be lovely if possible. Thanks

Steve, in fear of letting any body down, the last couple of months and the next few weeks are us totally and completely focused on the Player and version 2.15, which is being prepared alongside. Unfortunately this has to be our utmost priority at the moement, but rest assured, we will be putting all of our efforts toward fixing this in 2.16
We absolutely will fix this problem dude.

I see, well thank you for updating me, I appreciate it.
