Any idea what i can code
-
@Martin Maybe he mean to only let it look like a chat
-
If you're looking for inspiration I find browsing the media helps me with ideas. Kenney has some 2D donut images that I've always been drawn to and I had the idea the other day of creating a donut generator program that makes random donuts out of his different bases/icing/toppings when you press A. Simple idea but it's been great practice for me!
A few artists have some "match 3" type assets so that might be an idea? Or maybe some kind of clicker game?
Edit: Oh! If you wanted to make something more like a tool than a game how about a habit tracker? Or some sort of to-do list or calendar app?

@Kat A habit tracker cool idea

I meant a system chat, not an internal chat to the fuze app, I wanted to make a program to be able to share with friends and be able to communicate thanks to this, I believe that if you can make multiplayer games you can also chat, then maybe I'm wrong and nothing like that can be created
-
So you mean a chat outside of fuze
-
yes, something like a messenger
-
@GiggiBilli Mutipplayer is only currently possible with Fuze using multiple controllers connected to the same Switch i.e. there is no networking support
-
I understand, too bad, it could be the solution to many problems of this console
-
@GiggiBilli With only multiplayer you could do bad things to the switch except its a peer to peer connection. So there is a good reason its not in fuze
-
discarded the hypothesis chat I also join the idea of a match 3 game, maybe in the future with FUZE updates you can think of doing it, for the moment let's be satisfied
-
The only multiplayer games you can create with Fuze at the moment are those where players are on the same physical console (joycon 1, joycon 2, etc.) there is no multiplayer or networking beyond that at this point in time. Sorry to be a killjoy again :)

Since the persistent save file is shared when the program is shared, would it not be possible to do some kind of turn-based game where each player in turn takes their turn (and the result is saved in the file), and then share the whole program again (including the save file) with their opponent? The opponent would then do the same...
-
@vinicity This would take long i guess
-
@vinicity I had never thought of that. For a turn based combat game that might just work with Friends share

I had an idea for an app I wanted to do with my kids. Something quick, simple, and with a little bit of math in it. A fortune telling app. It would say ’what is your name?’ And ’when were you born’ and then it would tell them how old they are in years or weeks or days or whatever. Then it would say ’in 2050, you will be x years old,’ and have a prediction or two for them, like ”You will be married to a robot and you will be living on the moon” or something. It’ll be made by combining pre-programmed phrases. Then maybe another wilder one for the year 2100 because they’re only young and it’s not at all impossible they’ll live that long. Crazy!
-
@vinicity i really like that idea would work well in a chess game or if there's a game where each turn consisted of longer turns so your not constantly sharing back and fourth every minute

I'm all for anything that doesn't mean we suddenly get an abundance of shares to approve all day long. In fact, if nothing changed in the code I'd be inclined to reject the change anyway after a while.

@Martin if you were switch friends no need to submit at least
