New to Fuze, some early feedbacks
-
Hello Fuze team!
I just discovered this and I am very happy with it (remind me yabasic for ps2 back to the past).
I have two questions and quick search the forum don't answer so let's go:- Do you have a roadmap so we can see what is planned for futur updates?
- Will you implement some kind of tracker editor, like in PICO8 fantasy computer (3/4 voices), something very simple.
Thanks you very much. I wish you get even more people using this software. I have already tell to all my friends who are programmers with (or without) children :p

The current patch we are working on is mostly bug fixes but also includes a free version called Fuze Player that will allow anyone to download and play Fuze games. After that I think it is planned to have a hardening patch to fix more outstanding issues. Beyond that I am not sure

Thanks you very much for your feedback :)

I agree, some kind of loose feature roadmap (if this is possible) would be very helpful in planning what projects to do or how to go about them. If not, no problem. Will just have to wait and see what each update brings and go from there. Hopefully texturing 3D models isn't too far off.

It's not really possible unfortunately. Fuze is a very small team and therefore has to remain flexible and fluid. We could tell you the next thing is XYZ, or that the intention is to do this, then that and then it doesn't happen because something more important came up or something broke or whatever else. So the likelihood is that things are only going to revealed and talked about as they become close to reality because by that point the team is all-in committed on it.
There's also the fact that things are almost always in the pipeline that can't be discussed for other reasons. Top secret squirrel stuff, you know...

Not a problem 😊 Thanks for taking the time to clear that up. Will be all the more exciting when each feature release happens just to see what it brings (whenever that might be).
