They don't like some games, but did they look at the code ?
Here we have diversity, creativity. We don't want to play always the same game (FPS or metroidvania clones).

Happy New Year everyone. Loving these supportive and exciting comments.
I refrained from commenting here for a while, since if I'm being genuinely honest, that comment from YouTube upset me probably more than it should. It's very hard not to let a rubbish opinion like that get to you, expressed with absolutely zero awareness of the hard work, time, love and determination that go into each project. It comes across to me as an entitled, self obsessed outlook that everything is in the world to entertain them. Something leads me to believe they probably wouldn't have the determination, passion or courage to create a game of their own and share it with others. I had to fight the urge to jump on and be a keyboard warrior. But, it really is not something to even pay attention to. Any opinion expressed without thoughtfulness should be dismissed without it too.
The jury is already out on how "good" the games are. Fuzeotron is the business. This community makes that obvious. The support we provide to each other, the motivation this creates to create, learn and express ourselves - this is the important thing. Our community seems to be among the best out there for this.
Anyway, let's have a great year. There are some cool things coming, folks. :)

I did a pixel perfect Arkanoid clone about a month or two back but it wasn't in Fuze so I won't post it here :D

Also thanks to Jon for sidetracking me. I was working on a new game but his list of games inspired me and now I'm working on two games.

Ok I'll admit my showcase submission, Galactic Bolts, was a bit underwhelming and seems kind of buggy and the fact it was not worth mentioning on his video kinda bummed me out, but I won't let a review discourage me from creating more games on this platform. In fact if anything this tells me that I need to work harder and create something that will bring this Fuze player to the top! never let a bad review get you down and never give up!

If it’s any consolation, me and my kid played through Galactic Bolts last night, and we had a fun 10 mins. :)
Edit: that final boss looming over the horizon was a really nice touch, I thought.

@SteveZX81 You mentioned working on a Space Game. I hope it's like Elite 1. 40 K on the Spectrum. Must be possible with Fuze4. Really need a RND seed function. Any chance, Fuze team?

@toxibunny Thanks for playing it, it means a lot! Planning a sequel to it so watch out for that!
Edit: If you are interested in beta stuff look in the image editor for Galactic Bolts and you will see some sprites for a scraped feature... forgot to take them out unless a Fuze team member already did

@JMM161437 it's a great program/game not only fun but great for a sample program if i ever come out of the 2d-realm it would be very useful to learn from :)

This guy has no idea what he is talking about. He was complaining that the missiles were faster then you.... and.... well if they were slower then you they would never hit you.
Lol I haven’t seen what he says on other games but I’ll watch it all later.
