Project won't open
-
@dave No worries, I know you guys are busy. I really appreciate this, thank you very much!

Hey, the project has done it again, now submitted under Contraclone code with ID H4Y63MND5N
Is there anything I can do in the future to prevent this from happening?
If possible I'd like a full project restore, but just getting my code back would be nice!
-
If it helps, both times this happened it was after opening a different project. Everything's fine, then I'd open another project, come back to it and it's corrupted.
If its not too much of a hassle I'd just like my code back again, the Map would be nice but I'd really just like to get back to working on the project

It would be nice if Fuze had an option to Copy just the code next to the Copy Project option. It would mean errors like this could at least be somewhat solved by the user, especially in a case like this where the code itself is fine (and even being shown to the user in the preview window)

@Dave
i experienced the same behavior.
fortunately it was a test project, i just copied the code from help / example / createCurve.
should really not happen for a ide! the source was lost and i have to delete the project. -
@dave I have the same problem right now. Is it possible to get my code back? (CODE: D8UN3MNDN4)
I agree there really should be a way to restore/copy code without needing to open a project.

It sounds like the file has become corrupted. This has happened a few times but is very rare. If you share the project and tell me what it is called I will see if there is anything I can do but no promises
-
@pianofire code D8UN3MNDN4
-
@_jkdos I have managed to save most of the code but not the assets I'm afraid. Even the code had some corruption. If you look in your shares there is a version with "Code Only" on the end. You can download it from here. I would delete the original first.

@pianofire Thanks. That works. I'm only losing the map, but that's ok. I had just started building that when the project corrupted.
I'll probably have to make periodic backups to stay safe.
