      Dave recently mentioned in the previous gamejam that my game, Escort, could be in the showcase gallery. I love this idea and want to do what I can to make it a reality. Here are the changes I have already made.

      Major Changes:
      Restart, you can restart instead of being sent to the editor after winning or losing.
      Power up Duration, power ups are no longer unlimited. A small timer in the hub tells you how long you have left. This makes getting power ups less overpowered and makes getting more than one in a level worth it. Power ups also have a higher chance of spawning.
      Level Length, later levels are now a bit longer than the previous ones. This makes the game slightly harder, as commented on in the stream.

      Minor Changes:
      HUD, the HUD has been updated. There is now a power percent as well as a approaching "planet name" to add some fun on the right side of the screen.
      Title, the title now has music in the background by our very own Dave. This music as well as the title itself also fade out when you begin the game. You are brought back to the title at the end of each run.

      Please give this a go and tell me what you think of the changes. I want this to be showcase worthy while staying true to the original submission. All feedback is welcome.

        Dude these are excellent changes. Looking really polished. Do you have any other plans with this? I think in its current form it is at showcase level, but I'm intrigued to see if there more ideas you've been thinking about.

          The changes are a good start. The power % is really the time remaining for the power up. However after playing the new version I found a bug.
          Steps to reproduce:

          1. Let some bombers be destroyed
          2. Loose and restart
            Upon restarting collisions with the bombers that were destroyed in the previous run will not work, making them invincible. And they will become invisible on wave 2+ (they are still visible in wave 1).

            @Dave, I think this is about it. One more update with license agreement and it will be ready for submission.

                @Dave, I would like that happen as soon as possible. Not sure what the limits are but if you guys get it into the showcase gallery for the next rotation that would be awesome. Again, whatever is possible for you guys.
