Screen randomly changing color then screen fliping and then crashing in code and image editor

This has happened about two times to me, but like recently. I have no idea how it's caused, it the two times it happened seem to be completely random.

@kat I was working on a grayscale tiled image animated dog, and without me clicking anything, it crashed. The code editor is the same, I was working on my function library and it also crashed. Edit: I reinstalled it and the crash has stopped happening, kinda weird
