Small joycon top buttons ?

Hi folks.
Just wondering if there’s a way to assess the use of the top two buttons - when you take the left and right controller off the switch and put the black slide on bit onto the individual joycons?
I’ve searched the tutorials etc but can’t find anywhere that uses these buttons. Probably missing something obvious... they aren’t detected in the joycon test.
My plan is to buy some of the new SNES controllers when they are out and so for my little ones it would be even easier than the small individual joycons.

Do you mean start and select buttons?

No, he means the little SL and SR buttons that you can’t get to unless you split the joycon apart into the left and right components.
At the moment I don’t think they are covered but I can check.

@UrbanFox Currently you cannot access these buttons. The Joy-Con controllers have to be put into a different state to use them, disabling the regular L/R ZL/ZR buttons. This brings some complications and we decided to keep it simple for the release.
It's something we aim to include in the future, of course! Sorry to disappoint for now.

Ok thanks. I was hoping to use them for simple games for my kids - ones only 2 ;-0. Maybe i’ll see if these work when they are released!
