Removing Clipboard

Hi, I copied a code example to the clipboard and pasted it into my code. This was ok, but if I then open any of the
example pgms the clipboard together with the previously copied code is still present bottom right. I How can I hide the clipboard? I must be missing something but I can't see what...Thanks, John.

I don't believe you can hide it or clear it (the devs will correct me if I'm wrong)
What I do is just select a space and hit control+c, yes the window is still there but not full of distracting code.

ZR + Y on a controller will remove the contents of the clipboard and get rid of the box provided no text is selected. I don't recall if there is a keyboard equivalent but i don't think so.

Sorry @SteveZX81 I know initially I said otherwise but I had forgotten about the controller option because I don't usually use one.
