That explains why I see you playing games at 2am then ;)

Look I meant I wanted a desktop pc version for doing real things that I could administer TO real people AS well as you all.. my deepest apologies I did not mean that like it sounded lmao... :) If this does happen I am certain it will be an actual compiler to 64 bit binaries right?
-
@Ancientspark I am pretty sure that he is joking. I know that it is not always easy to tell on here
-
I'd really like clarification now.. if they are actually planning on a pc version next year I'd like to know whether that was a joke or now.. my focus on this vs QB64 is predicated on the promise that FUZE4 might bring with it SOON the promise of distribution of our work to an outside source.. even if it is through a stand-alone interpreter for the outsiders.
-
@Ancientspark Sorry not joking about the Windows version about not being real

We are planning FUZE4 Windows in 2020. I cannot be more precise than this yet.. sorry!
@Jonboy please clarify if this was in fact a joke or if this is real? Thank you.. it's important to me and my planning

only joking mate, no offence intended. :)

@Ancientspark That post from @Jonboy was not a joke. The joke in question here was Steve's characterization of what you said :)
-
Thank you all for that :) it really means a lot as I really want to include FUZE4 in my coding life and a substantial pc version is just what I need to keep coding here on switch as well now knowing that my learning of this language can actually end up getting someplace where I might be able to distribute and compile. :)

Hi everyone this is what i found on Fuze.co.uk.
It says "Please note - we are working on anew version called FUZE4 Windows."

@SteveZX81 Same! I've been ogling HTML5 Canvas + JS performance but it just isn't the same. It's still fun when I'm not in front of my TV though :) Can't wait for the Windows release and the bytecode update!
-
@tigerboy3050 Also yeah it's an old version as in V3? It's very different from the polished experience we have on F4NS!
-
@SteveZX81 what version of Windows are you hoping for? Windows 10 came out in the summer of 2015 and Windows 7 Support ended January 14th this year (won't be long before that's last year now! - scary but there we are).
I'm speculating, as we all are, but at this point, any software working on Windows older than Windows 10 will be a co-incidence and unsupported. You need to bite the bullet one day, and the sooner the better. There's nothing wrong with Windows 10 (aside from it being Windows). It's the best most stable version there has ever been.
@everyone
Also, just to clarify and re-iterate what it says on the download page for v3. It's a now very old version that is totally unsupported and is known to have unsolvable problems with modern Windows in some circumstances.

This makes me wanna learn about fuze and what is was before the switch version!
-
@JMM161437 Me too!
-
@Martin I'm still using 7 mate and no plans to change. (I won't get into why I dislike 10, this is not the place for a rant. lol)
-
Thats fine, and up to you, but it's no good going after anyone if it doesn't work with an OS that's no longer supported by the OS manufacturer.
