I'm stuck, I have 5 cards on the screen, but I need to remove two cards and then replace the two cards like a video Poker Game. I've gotten a lot of help from the Fuze Arena community, but now tit seems like I'm asking to much. If I could get my roll "On" with card games, I wouldnt have to ask for so much help....I dont go to any programming school, I'm just intrested in programming games, mostly card games...

Are you sharing the game via a friend code, or how do you wish to be helped?

Hi there I have been expanding on my card game framework. It now uses array backed lists which makes it easier to move things around e.g from the pack to a hand or from a hand to the discard pile.

It is shared as "Basic Card Game Functions". I won't publish the listing here as you really won't want to type it in. The list stuff is quite complicated (thanks to @IANRASE for this)

It currently uses sprites for the cards but I am not sure if this is the right approach going forward. My idea was to make animations easier.

This is a work in progress if other people want to contribute to this then please do but please share back what you have done.

          My friend code is SW-5218-2817-5887

Very cool indeed! but I don't envy you coding the 10,000 if statements to check for all the winning combinations :D

@kendog400 From the Switch main screen select your page (top left). Then select Profile. Your friend code is on the right

@kendog400 people (who do not work for Fuze) can only see your code when they are your friend on the Switch, that's why I asked for your friend code. I can't see your source code without becomming friends on the Switch (using your friend code).

@Martin There is a certain someone at Fuze who I'm not friends with on the Switch, and he has given me feedback on my code and later shared a screenshot of my game (2048) on the help section of Discord. I don't have a problem with it, but it doesn't rhyme at all with what you're telling me here.

At least some people who work at Fuze do have access to your game if you share it, even if you aren't friends. I'm not saying that there is something wrong with that, I see it might be useful at times. But if you then try to tell me that people at Fuze don't have access while things like this happen to me, then I feel like I need to respond.

One person would be correct. The person that works on the share server, it comes with the territory. The rest of the team cannot at this point. That will change when sharing eventually changes.

Right, with the update of the new release today, it's only fair for me to update my statement above.

NOW, anyone at Team Fuze can see and view any program that has been submitted for community sharing (not private / friends sharing). That doesn't at this point in time mean they can download it, edit it, etc, but I'm not saying that we won't be able to do that in the future, that would make the approval process a lot easier. Anyone that administers the actual server obviously continues to have deeper access than this.

I'll add this to the FAQ later for transparency.

I was scared to be friends with anyone but Fuze team mambers because it blanked out my friend list, I was just making sure it was safe again...

@kendog400 That has sometimes happened to me. Usually restarting fixes it
