Why when there are a lot of shadows with a higher resolution it drops the FPS by a lot for example in the game I’m working on Polygun this is the resolution to FPS

      Resolution___FPS
      1000...............60
      2000...............59 to 60
      3000...............49 to 58
      4000...............47 to 53
      5000...............43 to 47
      6000...............39 to 43
      7000...............35 to 37
      8000...............30 to 33
      9000...............28 to 29
      9500...............26 to 27

Here is a 9500 resolution shadow

And here is a 1000 resolution shadow

I guess I’m just wondering if anyone knows why the FPS goes down so much with just some shadows

This has been fixed since the last update
It will run faster with high resolution shadows

Realistically, shadows and resolution are always a killer on any platform. Even the most high end of graphics card on the highest PCs will have a point that shadows and effects kill performance
